Westview Visitor Information

Westview is a private, and active, cemetery. We strive to provide privacy, respect, and safety for our families and their guests, as well as accommodate visitors wishing to explore our beautiful and historic cemetery. This responsibility has guided our position on the following:


  • No vehicle shall exceed 15 mph and must be kept on the righthand side of the roadway.
  • Vehicles are not allowed to pass, or park in front of an open grave unless such vehicle is attending a funeral.
  • No scooters, bikes or motorcycles are allowed on the grounds unless the rider is visiting a friend or family member.


  • Pets shall not be allowed on the Cemetery grounds or in any of the buildings.


  • Persons within the Cemetery grounds shall use only the walks and roadways.
  • Only lot owners, friends and family of the deceased are permitted on a cemetery lot.
  • No jogging or running is permitted.
  • Boisterous or unseemly conduct, picnicking or other park activities are not permitted.
  • All persons are prohibited from gathering flowers, either wild or cultivated, or engaging in activities that could damage trees, shrubbery, plants or burial markers and monuments.
  • No children under 16 are permitted within the Cemetery or its buildings unless accompanied by an appropriate person.


  • The Abbey Mausoleum and/or other areas within the Cemetery may be closed for cleaning, maintenance, etc. - please call in advance of your visit to make sure the area you wish to visit is open.
  • While we understand how important memorial celebrations are, no balloon releases or non-battery-operated candles, are permitted. Dove releases and battery-operated candles are acceptable.
